I just went to TASS and screenshot that article, in case it disappears.
A TASS Release
In an interview, with #Russia presidential aide, Nikolai Patrushev said:
"To achieve success in the election, Donald Trump relied on certain forces to which he has certain corresponding obligations. As a responsible person, he will be obliged to fulfill them."
WTF- The incoming President has "obligations" to pay off for Russian assistance during his election?
Is this one of the services #ElonMush arranged?
THIS IS #TRUMP 'S REAL STOLEN ELECTION
@QueenOfEverything @BillyBones
Yep. It seems like Russia no longer has an issue hiding the fact that they've been helping him this entire time.
I'm a rational person... until this election. I'm screaming in my head over all this extreme conflict of interest, crime, lies, & all the unqualified cronies to make up his gang. He's running this like a mobster.
I do believe the election was compromised. #ElonMusk said, "Anything can be hacked."
Now, these statements that our President is in debt to the Russians. What will it take for to put trump on hold until this can be investigated?
@QueenOfEverything I read earlier (though it was Twitter, so take this with a pinch of salt since I've got NO proof at all) that voting machines in swing states were connected to Starlink and that allegedly Musk had results 4 hours before they were officially announced (around the time DT stopped saying it was rigged). But that's just hearsay as far as I know.
This is a real problem for our Country. My number one concern as a voter in the United States is not the Candidate- it's that the entire election process is SECURE & CHECKED before & AFTER the final votes are counted.
Harris conceding ended the process. That's not right.
So, #ElonMusk in June coldly argued anything can be hacked. I believe it was.He's a US contractor. Has anyone outside of himself investigate Starlink capacities?.
Trump in debt to Russia- WTF.
@QueenOfEverything @BillyBones @Tarnagh
Look.
Musk is right. Anything can be hacked.
But I think that we as an electorate need to understand how the machines are used and the checks on them- articles and /or statements like those posted rely on hour ignorance of the processes and controls.
For the most part- india@/ use of the machines seems to be quite different than ours.
Many/most of ours are just *counters*.
Accuracy of counting is easy to double check/audit
@Beanc I think it would make more sense if you (one) see it as part of a whole. Take the increasing number of posts on SM from people saying that their ballots were received but not counted. Starlink doesn't affect that per se, but like I say, the big picture is made up of many smaller parts 👍
@BillyBones @QueenOfEverything @Tarnagh
Sure, but by that logic, the 2020 election *was* stolen from Trump.
I would be *supremely* skeptical of a) social media posts and b) Russia promulgated media.
Factuality of both is highly questionable and the potential motives of both are as well
@Beanc I don't think 'now' necessarily equals 'then'. Biden rode a wave with DT's mishandling of Covid happening at the same time. This time around we're expected to believe that 15 million D's & R's who were mad at things like abortion access (that played a huge part in 2022) just shrugged and went "Meh"
I know it sounds subjective, but even DT got fewer votes than last time, so it's not like there was a red wave. Plus he repeatedly said "We don't need votes" @QueenOfEverything @Tarnagh
@BillyBones @QueenOfEverything @Tarnagh
Right. I’m just saying you’re using the same logic mechanism.
I think you’re understating a) the effect of inflation and kitchen table items and b)losers are more motivated to vote.
B, I think, is the larger part of what sways recent elections.
Sure, shit can and does go wrong. But again, look at the voting system processes and controls. Volunteer to count. It’s not easy to fuck with.
I, for one, have faith in the current process.
Just not the voters.
@Beanc Fair enough, and I think this is where we respectfully disagree. If it were anyone else (even a Bush v Gore scenario) I'd agree more readily. But this is a conman, thief, convicted felon with the world's richest tech guy pulling for him, hence my willingness to consider that something might well be rotten in the State of Denver (pun).
@Beanc @BillyBones @QueenOfEverything @Tarnagh Any hackers on here who might want to comment? Don’t forget that such cheating would be taking place at state levels with no federal oversight.
@REDonaldAuthor
By using statistics, we can gain near certainty that if we “recount” enough samples that the machine tabulated, we can know how it is counting g all votes.
If we have errors outside of what we tolerate? We know the machine is fucked.
If it is a tabulator only. Which again, most machines are, as I understand it.
@REDonaldAuthor
lol taking my comment off the chain because they’re sick of responding, but let’s check some assumptions.
Let’s assume most voting machines are tabulators (counters) . Most are- if otherwise, I wouldn’t vote on it.
So put votes in, and the machine counts. Let’s say I hacked it and made the # miscount.
So then, the voting facility does their test counts.
Machine says 100 for Trump, I counted 89.
Recount.
Still error.
Boom, we know something is wrong & investigate further.
