The Sandhill Cranes visited this morning - dang they're LOUD and their call is so distinctive (think movie FX of horses clopping clopping) and they don't shut up. The herons are quieter but it's weird to see like 30 of them congregating in the yard and all clustered around the oak tree...love the egrets - they always seem so busy busy busy. Anyway, other than the crows, possums and raccoons, these are our daily visitors

@Greytdog Our sandhill cranes haven’t arrived yet and I hope they don’t get here soon. Our hay fields are still under 1 - 2 feet of snow.
