No we haven't done Haleakala. Someone suggested we go up there to see the sunrise and we're just not morning people..lol. 🤷🏼♀️
Is it cool for things other than watching the sunrise?
@Qweencara I think so but I studied geology.. might not be as interesting to others... it’s not as exciting as Mauna Loa but it’s cool to see the crater. There are some large telescopes up there, if I remember correctly. The lava fields might be more interesting. They’re sharp but the hike to some of the blow holes is worthwhile. Renting Harley’s and driving the Hana Hwy is fun... so is snorkeling/snubs near Molokai.. taking a zodiac out & swimming with dolphins is a blast. Traditional BBQ 👍

No that actually does sound interesting. I've not been to Mauna Loa either. We found some sort of lava tubes off of Hana hwy that someone told us about that were super cool last time. They were like caves made from the lava but they're not very noticeable unless you know what you're looking for. They were way cool. Haven't done the lava fields either but did do the snorkeling trip out to Molokai which was amazing! Thanks for the ideas!!
