Pupdate on the new kid: took him to vet, no chip. Car sick on way home, glad I have heavy duty seat cover lol. He's made himself at home. Has the dog door down and hasn't had any accidents in the house. Currently laying down with his head on my foot and Xena came over too.
I'm still looking for owner and will give it a while. Really didn't want another dog right now but maybe the universe had other plans 🤷♂️
(His head is the same height as countertop 😬)

@PurpleDragon The Universe often has other plans that we aren't always privy to, but they nevertheless fall into our laps. #Wifi - you may have to think of a better, more fitting, more regal name than that (just my opin of course) Please give him a love for me!
@mims Not sure about regal, he's really silly lol
But yes I will definitely think of something better
@mims Aww what a sweetheart 💜 So sorry for the loss, never easy.
I was joking btw, he is pretty regal. And really smart. When he gets more confidence that I'm not the human who betrayed him I'm going to find a class.
And I agree, as a dog owner and foster for almost 40 years they are the best and most humans don't deserve them 💝

And here is the kicker (pretty much all dogs, - - and cats - - are healers on the energetic / spiritual levels) our dot got better (we're 8 years out now).
She is a trainer for the Aussie paraolympic swim team now and is just getting back home to AU from Paris...
There are no accidents, and there are no coincidences.
I'm so glad Wifi is with you now.
@mims That's awesome about your girl. She sounds like such a fighter.
I do think he showed up because my old girl Xena is 15.5 and has some issues 😟
Yes, she is unspeakably awesome (yes, I know, I'm somewhat biased)
blessings to you and beauty boy who needs a better name and gratitude and love to Xena! Another warrior! ✨✨✨
@PurpleDragon
Thanks for your kindness. Kare (pronounced Cuddy)was a once in a lifetime dog, but she was definitely my DH's (dear husband's) dog! I was loved by her but those two worshiped the ground each other walked on. THAT was pretty funny & so special!
I had my four littles, (now down to three), and the big pupper girl loved & tolerated their antics quite well. Sot it all worked out.
