@cjcrew One night I was lying in bed on my side, facing away from the edge, and one of our chihuahuas was sitting in front of me, just staring up in to the corner of the room in the dark. Ghost? Moth? Spider? Who knows... I carefully just closed my eyes and went to sleep...
@PugHollowSanctuary Yep, Ernie will run to the front door and start barking his fool head off while looking at me like, “Aren’t you going to get this?” Happened a lot more when the hospital was open across the highway. I finally just started telling him they were just passing through, relax. He didn’t really buy it.

@PugHollowSanctuary Ernie does that, except he likes to do it at night, just stops and stares out into the dark making me worry about what is lurking out there.
Just an FYI, there is an urban legend about vampires who supposedly reside at a mausoleum located in a cemetery just on the other side of the highway from my house. Although I’m more worried about the coyotes that live in the valley.
