Now she tries to be the most conservative of the majority in The Senate, cozying up to oil interests, the medical insurance lobby, and national chamber backed deregulation executives.

She followed money, not the people.

@Progress0nly: That's what 99+% of everyone who runs for office does. It's a business, and just like in business, it's about capitalizing on the fads and zeitgeist, reading the tea leaves to see what's coming down the pike, and hop on the train before everyone else does. Also, it's about jumping tracks if ahead looks unfavorable.
