#introduction: I'm 37 ♀️, live on the Top of the South Island in New Zealand, have 3 kids, one dry husband, 12 chickens, 2 ducks, 5 alpacas, one dogs and 2 rabbits. Jeez, what have I gotten myself into? Trying to bond female rabbits...older one climbed through the tube to cuddle the small one - but all hell brakes lose when the small one tries to go over to the big one. Only day two...#cosoanimals

It just flew out of the window. Now chatting to another fantail. I hope they figure out a way to get clean.

Went to open son's window in the morning, quick glance at the fly paper...a goddamn fantail was stuck in in. Poor little thing. I somehow unstuck it...it's full of glue. Tried to clean it, but seems impossible. It's hopping and flying around now, but doubt it can clean itself. What to do? MIL suggested to put it out of its misery...but it is a fantail and I feel that's tapu.

The dog on the way to the vet. He cried as if about to be killed.
Vet pulled the nail out, dog didn't need to be put under. Got antibiotics, but wasn't too bad yet.
Dog ABSOLUTELY quiet on the way home. #dogsofcoso

My dog ripped his toenail while chasing a pinecone...watched it for a few days, hoping it'll come out by itself, but it hasn't. I think it's infected now. To the vet tomorrow...hopefully he won't need to be put under to remove it.

My neighbour is driving me insane. He reported us to the council, because apparently we're building a tiny house illegally on the property - we are not doing it illegally, already applied for consent. He's doing everything to stop my 76 year old MIL to have a home for no reason, apart from demonstrating authority.
He is about 250m away from us and the back of his house will face the tiny house.
We are poor, he is rich, so we are lower class people.

3 young arborists were here today looking like straight out of some advertisement.
MIL to me: "Jeez, when we need some eye candy, we'll safe up and get another tree taken down!"
