Around about 4pm I checked out the barn cameras and my #horse was down and didn't look right. Instantly, I started freaking out that she was colicking! I ran downstairs threw on my insulated Bern bibs and jacket, and got out there as fast as I could. She wickered long and hard when I came into the barn calling her name in a panic. She was cast on her side up against the stall gate and the wall of the stall and she kept looking at her side.
She was literally stuck against the wall on her side and I dont think she knew how to get up. She seemed bewildered. I don't know how long she had been that way. I threw a halter on her and I told Hubby to grab her front legs and push them away from the wall and flip her over on her back. She was calm and didn't kick or struggle. She knew we were helping her, that we'd come to rescue her.
@SandHillThicket Glad she is safe an well!
