Honestly guys, I can't fathom how DeathSantis won Miami-Dade. The only thing I can say? Crist was a bad choice. No one, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE likes giong backwards, and that is exactly what Florida Dem Party did. We need a better Dem party and leadership here in Florida if we ever want to win again. #Politics #FloridaPol
@PirateWench There was amazing youth turnout on the 8th, but they didn't vote in the primary where a new generation of leadership could have been selected to lead Florida.
@PirateWench I can. In a word-- Cubans. Cuban/Cuban-American voters lean disproportionately Republican compared to other Latinos. This in itself is an interesting study into internalized racism.
But I agree Dems need to do a better job at selling themselves, pretty much everywhere. That's been a Democratic Achilles' heel for a while now.
