@MrsE0113 and the expression of joy: I’m happier than a pig in shit!
@AskTheDevil @MrsE0113 I think it goes way back because I’m 58, my mother said it and so did my grandmother. Back then pigs were seen as dirty, dirty animals but always deemed content.
@AskTheDevil @MrsE0113 when it comes to delicious pig, I thought it was due to some Christians beliefs that animals don’t have souls, making them feel guiltless while eating them.
@AskTheDevil @MrsE0113 nowadays they are kept in concrete pins that they can’t even lay down in, in rows and rows. The concrete makes clean up easy which just leaves me to believe better production.
@Pippy @MrsE0113 I think humans keep pigs in filth so they can think of them as filthy and not feel bad about eating them.
I wish I could go back in time and warn Pig that "delicious" is not a survival trait.
Oh. Wait. I can just go forward in time and do that.
Hear that primates? Next universe, bacon will taste bad.
You're welcome, pigs.
