I've had the last five days off in a row and took advantage by arting my butt off. It grieves me now to have to go back to the dreary day job. Really thinking about retiring next year at 62. I'm not rich but would probably make a little more on retirement than I do at this part time job's slave wages.
@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN That's what I'm thinking. Why wait until I'm too old and not strong enough to do what I want to do?
@Pepstar our end will come sooner than we planned. So, seize the opportunity!
@Pepstar If you can manage it financially, buying independence is a very wise investment. My dad loved his job so much he did it into his 80's. He only enjoyed a couple years of retirement before his health started to change, good luck to you.
@MidnightRider I have five older siblings and 4 of them retired early. The house is paid off, the car is paid off. I'm no longer collecting expensive dolls. I think I can manage it. I only have to pay for house taxes and insurance, utilities and basics. Oh and pet food. Them critters gotta eat, LOL
@Pepstar Retire while you can still do things you love.
@AskTheDevil My thoughts exactly!
@Pepstar what little time we have left, is precious.
