Rather than pay off student loans which were not forced on anyone, I'd rather see realistic career/guidance counseling in public schools.

Schools pushed kids toward college without considering how they could possibly survive past age 18.

Counselors wrongly assume parental support after age 18. Upon turning 18, many got no further support whatsoever from parents.

Taxes from those young people who had to work to survive should not be used to pay loans taken by kids who had family support.

@Priestess I'd like to see money put into trade schools instead of colleges. Nothing wrong with learning a trade over having a diploma for accounting/business/medicine etc.
