Back in the 80's, I was hoping that by the time we reached the 2000's, we'd have more of a Star Trek type society complete with food replicators...and boy was I disappointed.
@Florence You, like myself, expect way too much out of the human race. I'd be happy with a cell phone signal that didn't keep cutting out.

@Pepstar I'd have settled for decent cell phones which didn't take photos but DID make decent quality phone calls every now and then!
