I said to myself…what if we stopped calling it gun control and referenced it as firearm safety legislation?
Think that would trigger the NRA and the gun lobby?

@PanCanWarrior Probabably. It might be better to call it the "Real Macho Family Man" and build up that fake manly mythos those guys are all into and make it about standing up for family by being a real man without "artificial bravado" of guns. Maybe if some really macho guys were hired to really sell it...?? OF course I think it is all toxic baloney, anyway. But some guys really are hyper masculine. And some guys really like the whole primitive archetype of the hunger and gatherer that protects.
