For anyone that is curious about the type of faith I follow, I practice a mix of norse animism, and eclectic witchcraft overlapping each other. One such example of the rites and practices I participate in, is shown and shared on Wolf the Red's channel on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCel_9J6RzI #CoSoPagans #CoSoHeathens
I wanted to sign off on a positive note. I am quite close to the gods/goddesses Freyr, Siff, Freya, Loki and Odin. They all have had a very strong influence in my life ever since I started on my path nearly 8 years ago. Very recently I had left out offerings to the gods, asking them for peace, and comfort in a time of heartbreak and loss. Loki brought me laughter, Freyr gave me joy, Freya brought me my family, Odin taught me to listen and watch for his signs, and Siff gave me comfort.
@PaganMother Thank you for sharing, sleep well 🌃 😊!
@Blue_Skyesr_here You too Blue. <3
@PaganMother I once came across someone who describes herself as a "patchwork pagan", and nothing else has ever fit me so well. No specific deity, though I have always had a fondness for Thor, and Yemaya seems to keep tabs on me (Caribbean ancestry). Candles are my thing. And just to mix it up, I enjoy working with angels. Runes (my first and favorite divination tool), tarot, a bit of Lenormand. #CoSoPagans
I have been an active member of the norse witch circles for roughly 3 yrs now, and learning my way to study the runes and use of them for the last 7 yrs. My husband also practices but he's closer to reconstructionist norse than I am, and we often share cross over practices and rites as a couple. Wolf the Red, and Ocean Keltoi are the closest you can find to teachers of the old ways that you can trust to be unbiased, nonracist, and activists in todays society. #CoSoPagans #CoSoHeathens
