Anyone have any experience with drawing tablets?

Bought the wife an XP-pen 13.1 and hooked it up to a gaming PC with a 50" monitor and standing desk.

Now she has a $2,000 setup and no idea what to do with it. lol We are both traditional artists.

Yes, we have Wacom Cintiq drawing monitors we use & have done since about 2005 (pre iPad days).

We found the stylus pen easier to use than mice, as it was true drag & drop (but not the problem of big thumbs, nor mouse & needing to keep relationship ... you could just stab & go).

@OrdinaryGuyUK Nice. What software are you using now?

What creative background do you have?

Ive an architectural design background, so AutoCAD but I started using them when I damaged my hands from a RSI injury, and holding mice was not ideal.

Found they were just the thing, for accurate stab & go use.

Run them on standard windows, as they use a mouse driver ... only exception is now I have a 3 screen setup, thats mouse, but the pen monitor can do screen snips & just draw markups on them to put into emails exactly what I am illustrating, or commenting on drgs by others.
