I guess you are talking about Sheldon?
I think he is more interested in how much he has to pay in taxes than anything else.
Billionaires are like that.
@Notokay @OldDeckHand I don't get that either. I thought or maybe hoped most people would agree that's a low bar with supporting hate groups.
@AnnetteTRemain @OldDeckHand There is a subset of Jewish voters, of whom Sheldon Adelson was certainly one, for whom the support (and thus survival) of Israel is the single paramount issue, and they are willing to get into bed with evangelicals, Republicans, and Nazis who profess their support. @Notokay @OldDeckHand I want the survival of Israel but I would never put money behind something, or support big lies about what groups are, that enabled and strengthened dangerous hate groups. It still boggles my mind. We are seeing a resurgence of far right that threatens jew, black, gay, immigrant, etc worldwide and people like Sheldons made it worse.
@AnnetteTRemain @OldDeckHand Oh absolutely.
@OldDeckHand @AnnetteTRemain I think it has just as much to do with the Republican evangelical support of Israel, though that seems to have muted more recently
