One thing to understand about many congress critters on both sides is that some either don't understand #climatechange, or they really don't care what happens to life on the planet after they are gone as long as they reap O&G benefits ($$) for themselves.

@peeppeepcircus It's very concerning especially if TFG wins. If it is enacted it's basically a death sentence for much life on the planet. They don't care.

@AskTheDevil Canute's bag was the tides were not under his control. CC deniers have it wrong - they can control (to an extent) the climate by eliminating excess carbon from the atmosphere
