Do you have a favorite kitchen implement that you treasure and won't let anyone else use? Mine is this maple spoon that I've had since the early 80s. You can see that one edge is worn from being used hard.

That handle must feel like silk in your hand by now!
I have two, one is an olive wood spatula I've had since the early 90s.
The second is a gift from my step mother. Her son in law carved one for each of the ladies in his new fam.
She called it a "kłócka" which means to quarrel. 😂 It's an old timey hand mixer/whisk. You hold it between your palms and roll it back and forth quickly. Great for getting rid of lumps in gravy, or to mix a cup of hot chocolate in a mug.

That little implement is an old, old Eastern European thing. It's very simple but gets the job done.😉

@NorthernInvader an egg turning spatula that was my mammaw's. She used it to make breakfast everyday. The handle got melted by my bf and eventually fell off. I still use it anyway. Trying to find a new handle.
