In Texas, some of the training required to become an OB-GYN is no longer offered because of the stateβs abortion laws. That means OB-GYN residents now have to leave the state for two- to four-week rotations to get the required training.
@Maude
We saw this on 60 Minutes last night! Texas is a nightmare for women, families,residents and the OB-GYN field!

I am hopeful that Harris will help rectify what "would" be problematic for women, for our future population, for adoption agencies.
I am as well. I just don't know how it's going to play out in places like Texas with someone like Abbott in charge. He needs to go, along with Cruz! Texas acts like they are a sovereign nation! π Abbott makes his own rules. So many women have died in Texas alone since they banned abortions there. Highest rate in the US! π‘

It would be great to clean house of their Gov, Lt.Gov, and Sen.
Perhaps they need to SEE the error of voting against women and their future population before deciding to re-think?
It's their future population they'll be supporting when young gals would be raising babies on a minimum wage job
@Spagesgallo1 @JanetZumba_FalPals @Maude People with different priories and convictions end up seeing the world differently and it colors votes.
What we believe and what we focus on become filters by which we see the world. If someone has a different filter set they will see the same thing differently.

That is so very true. Excellent point and well taken. Thank you helping me to make sense of it all. My objectivity is really clouded over!
