Good morning groovy souls!
Feeling a little tired today, but I am still on the bounce. This week is a whirlwind, but breakfast is hot and ready with meditation coming just after.
Tomorrow and Friday should be a little slower before the adventure begins again!
Onward, toward the wander!
Onward, toward the dawn!
Try to get as much rest as possible prior to embarking on your quest. Mind, body & spirit moving as one in harmony!🙂👍
@Soldier_Solitude Thank you my friend. I still havent gotten on to my run today. I sat down for meditation, and promptly passed out in my chair for half an hour, woke up, started again, same result.
Taking melatonin before bed last night was probably not the best idea? :P
I'm feeling perky now though, and well centered. I finally got some focus in ontop of the sleep, and now I'm eyeing that run.
It's a good kind of busy, but you're right, without balance there is no life.
Do you typically have trouble sleeping?
How far do you run and is it part of your daily regiment?
Your welcome!🙏🏼
@Soldier_Solitude I sometimes have trouble sleeping, but much less lately. Meditation, physical activity, and a new sleeping mat have greatly enhanced my sleep.
I run normally six days a week, between 4 and 7 miles a day.
Good morning.🙂☀️
Why are you having difficulty sleeping? Your running routine is good one.👍. What is it about running that you prefer to other exercise routines?
You sleep on a mat, which is interesting. Do you have spinal issues and therefore require a firm mat or surface to sleep on?
@Soldier_Solitude Sleep and I have a lifetime struggle bus relationship, but its been getting better and better as I've worked on meditation, and my exercise.
I sleep on a mat because I like being close to the floor. It's something that goes back to childhood. I like tight enclosed spaces that are down on the ground. Up high I feel exposed, and its harder for me to sleep.
I also like the simplicity. When I travel my mat rolls up and comes with me so home is where ever I roam.
@Soldier_Solitude oh I am a nomad most definitely. I’ve been home less than I’ve traveled this year. I also love nature.
@Soldier_Solitude Life and existence are beautiful in their many permutations.
The way the wind blows through the trees, the sound of other animals living their lives, bird song. The utter peace of a place far from the concrete human hives where things are, largely, in a natural equilibrium.
I'm a long distance runner, and hiker, primarily. Are you an outdoorsy person?
Life is encapsulated into many delights and wonders to be held and experienced via the senses. The warmth of the sun on one’s skin. The moisture of the rain as its coolness produces joy to the soul.
The connection to nature from an organic standpoint is simply magnetizing! The tranquility from within meeting and matching the oneness of all that is around you. To be removed from the artificial and vain constructs that constrict liberation is bliss.
Yes. I love being outdoors!
I enjoy hiking, running, walking and exploring nature. Particularly the woods (forests) and beaches. I also like riding my bike as well.
What is the best part of hiking for you?
@NiveusLepus
Ok. What is your favorite aspect of nature and what activities do you participate in the most while in nature?
