@LlamaMountainStudioArts @Vozy nah, we’re coming to see you buddy. It’s all groovy. I can’t wait to tell you about hiker town on the pct. I rented an abandoned trailer for 5 bucks to spend the night out of the wind. No power no bathroom just a dirty floor to roll my mat out on. I trusted it more than the bed. They rousted the last hikers that rented it the day before when I “checked in”
It was worth every penny. I spent much of my evening chatting and laughing with my fellow hikers.

The place, to put it kindly, was incredibly run down. The central house, where the people that owned it lived was very nice, and they were very nice.
They collected some ramshackle old buildings, and hammered together some basic services (Laundry in washing buckets with boards!) to help a bunch of dirty nomads move north and south on an epic, and somewhat crazy journey.
It didn't matter the condition. It was the heart that counted most.
