I hope repurposed. I have seen a lot of that myself. Yes, to cut it for that would be a crime.
@NiveusLepus @CinnamonGirlE @ATXJane if it was cut just for that, I would absolutely feel bad for the tree, but having grown up in a heavily forested place where a lot of trees were broken in storms, hit by lighting or killed by fire, many were repurposed so they didnt get wasted. Hard to know which this one is.
