This one is for all my writer friends here, but especially @Graci, @NiveusLepus, and @lenaoflune .
Be careful not to make this all-too-common mistake! 😉
@MLClark @NiveusLepus @lenaoflune Last thing we need are things like " Jenny flirtingly drew her index finger down Tanya’s upper arm. “So, are you going to eat your coleslaw?”
@Graci @NiveusLepus @lenaoflune
I see no problem here. 😁
But if you give me Jenny and Stan, I will expect a good narrative reason for distracting me from the main plot with your heterosexual agenda!
@MLClark @NiveusLepus @lenaoflune Nope. No Stan. All my straights are incidental characters whose only personality point is that they are straight and/or horrible dressers.
@Graci @MLClark @lenaoflune I just let my characters work that out. That said, I have never written a sex scene. Jackie and Cerian are a couple in Space Station Z, and we get pretty close to romance with others, but thats about as “steamy” as it gets.
@NiveusLepus @Graci @MLClark Whereas I'm over here injecting steamy queer tension into just about everything 😅
@lenaoflune @Graci @MLClark *ase casts oblivious immunity* *it’s super effective *
Wha? You seem cool to me.
@NiveusLepus @lenaoflune @Graci
😂 Becca! I'm imagining you looking at the steam coming off Lena's prose, and getting all excited because now you can play tic tac toe with a buddy in the fogged up windows.
@MLClark @lenaoflune @Graci I mean you aren’t wrong. Do you want to play?
I don’t know why there’s moaning going on, she just does that.
