@NiveusLepus My brother's wife had two strategies for doorstep religious types - putting a towel over her head and pretending to be Muslim or saying that they worship Satan. They often apologised and left. 😁
@Cynanthrope Not sure if this story is true, but I knew someone near twenty years ago that said when he peeked out the window to see the Mormons at the door he ripped off his shirt, smeared his chest with ketchup, opened the door and screamed "THE SACRIFICES HAVE ARRIVED" or something like that, and they ran off terrified and never returned.
