Many years ago, I, with effort, read The Talisman, by Stephen King and Peter Straub. What book by a great author were you most disappointed in?

@EdgeOErin I enjoy the usual suspects (popular authors) such as King, Palahniuk & Gaiman.
Chuck Palahniuk idk what even to call his genre… but he started disappointing me when he published Damned, yet I still read everything that he writes. Nothing has yet to do any better than after Damned. Idk. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ King … man is just a writing MACHINE. Yet I don’t have the attention span to read his books anymore. I think the last thing I read was Nightmares & Dreamscapes in the 90s

@bettertobend @EdgeOErin As a novel, I grew disappointed with the Sandman by Gaiman. He's one of my favorites but the book did not resonate well with me. #booklovers

I've been reading Odin's Tillit and it's truly a rad read!
@NiveusLepus @EdgeOErin same on Sandman! And I honestly don’t enjoy his books of short stories. Neverwhere is my gold standard for rating Gaiman.
