That's a ton of disengenious BS @Kimmycott. My wife bought a Chevy Volt. It cost less than my gas Toyota Camry. We use it for all our "local" trips, which is like every day in about a 60 mile radius. It uses less than $10 in electricity a month to charge. The charge station cost less than $300 w/ install. It's 240 volt like a drier or oven. There are virtually no recurring maintenance cost: no oil, radiator, etc. It only lacks range, but that's not an issue for 90% of our needs.
