FUNFACT - Your Android or iPhone now has 'COVID-19 Exposure notifications' that will tell you if you have been near anyone with COVID.

No shit.

@th3j35t3r NOPE! Not enabling. Besides, to what end? Right now, without it I know:

- 3 people at work have tested positive in the past 11 days,
- I am still awaiting my test results from 7 days ago,
- “essential” workers are also EXPENDABLE.

I don’t think it could make me any safer.

@Myrth @th3j35t3r i think it's a good idea to complement whatever contact tracing is being done in your neighborhood. However on iphone it requires to install an app to log exposure; if anyone has advice as to which app is best / has highest adoption (not always a good criteria, but in this case it probably is), i'm all ears :)

I would guess that everyone would have to use the same app.

It’s only going to give a false sense of security to some folks who rely on their phones for everything.
