@mrbunnylamakins pointing a gun at someone invites death. Folks think they look tough, carrying guns to protests, to Statehouses, etc. But brandishing a gun in a way that puts another in reasonable fear of death or great bodily harm gives them the right to kill you in self defense in many (not all) states.
