Something that bothers me about this Northram debacle (and now his LT Governor as well) (besides the obvious racism and BS excuses) The people exposing this stuff don't give a shit about the racist nature of the photo (or the possible sexual assault) Their only goal is to take down the Democrats who dared to stand for a woman's right to choose.
To be clear, I believe Northram should step down and this is not an excuse for him - just something that bugs the hell out of me.

Yes, that bothers me also. But this is why we need to HEAVILY VET our own candidates before we elect them.
Don’t let them off with not showing their tax returns. Go through their past thoroughly. Yearbooks, op-eds, rumors, etc.
Because if we don’t, the opposition WILL.
