Meta is in freefall. From almost $350 a share a year ago to $97 today.
The takeaway? Surround yourself with people who will challenge your opinions, and really listen to see if they are right. Zuckerberg is convinced he's the smartest guy in every room.
@Th31 I'm not sure I agree. The FB business, despite my dislike for it, is still profitbable and users have grown (the only user loss was reported last Feb).
I think VR/AR could be a move, but not at the rate he's throwing money at it. That's why the stock has tanked.
@Mshockley in his defense not that he's really defendable but every metric showed that Facebook was dying long before meta. Their user base was getting older. younger people weren't joining. all signs pointed to him having to go in all in on some kind of new direction..
