As I left the gym this evening, I saw a message on my phone. It was from one of my former students informing me his older brother, who was also one of my students, had died. Cause of death to be determined.
One of my first seniors..... when I first started to work for the TRIO programs.
My heart is heavy. 💔

How sad! But also, how lovely that your former students think to call you when there is news, even if it’s sad. I’m so sorry.
