I'm gonna admit. I'm fucking terrified about all of this. I know it needs to happen. I cannot afford to live in SoCal, unless I want to go back to the soul sucking job I had. I don't.

@MrsBentoBako Big decisions, indeed. I would do a pro and con list for each place. Do you want to live in PNW that rains a lot after being from SoCal? CO has a lot of snow. But more sun. How far is a major airport from where you want to live just in case DH does have to go back to the main office sometimes? What do you like to do in your down time? Outdoors, cultural things, food, music, etc. Breaking it down in categories might help. Good luck!

Now it's just how much house can we afford on his salary, until I get a job. Where can we get the most bang for our buck.

I am not fond of change. So this is going to be twice as hard on me.
@MrsBentoBako Ah. I understand the change is hard thing. I don't know what age you are. I am in my late 60's. Life IS change. Major decisions take some discussion and planning as you have done. And a leap of faith. Believe in yourself. You will do fine!
