We don't mean to offend our followers but would ask our followers to step inside our trans shoes for a moment. How many times a day do we scroll on Twitter to the very violence that we face? How many messages do we receive in our threads on Twitter, that we are the sinners for breathing/going to hell/our family will get killed/they will find us and kill us in the name of a God we KNOW does not condone violence?
We are tired of a painted figure being used to oppress and take human rights away.
We in no way say this is THE Jesus you believe in: We say this is THE Jesus that is being used to make OUR BODIES uncomfortable, our CHILDREN feeling unsafe in school from bullets, Black/Brown and Indigenous lives feeling INVISIBLE.
