When your draft status moved from 1-A to 1-Y, you could say goodbye to the draft that was sucking up hundreds of thousands and that ultimately led to the deaths of 50,000 young American guys Trump’s age.
@LiberalLibrarian What delivered the 1-Y for Trump was bone spurs in his heels. Unprovable and never necessary to treat, that was the perfect grounds for deferment. Unlike John McCain, who was shot down with broken legs and tortured in Hanoi for years, our future president, who was essentially a medical draft dodger, had the gall to dis McCain on account of his having been imprisoned.
