To think our home is gonna end up in a scrap yard because of a mistake that could be corrected monetarily but refused is wild..... im really struggling to absorb this #randomthoughts

I thought people had to go to court first to evict people?
I'm a landlord - in my state you can give an eviction notice, if the tenant fights it we go to court. In some cases, tenants who are not healthy or have kids, a judge usually extends the time they need to be out by.
I'm not that type of landlord, though. I have excellent tenants bc I treat them well. If someone is sick and can't pay the full rent, I ask how much they can afford and work with them. I would never kick a sick tenant out.

@JoyfullyDazed @AverageCitizen Yeah it's a complicated as we pay our lot rent but property itself was sold via tax auction without our knowledge so it's the tax buyer who has no moral values
