Heading to meet the teacher in about an hour. Kiddo was so stressed about who would be in her class this year that she knew from kindergarten. Fortunately the mom of her bestie from kindergarten texted that they are in the same class. Perhaps one less overwhelming worry for her little mind to contend with. This might be the clincher for getting her riding the bus, knowing her bestie will be on the same one.
@MotherDucker Good luck! Wish I could say it gets easier but my 12 year old was stressing about starting at the middle school now that she's in 7th grade--keeps crying that she's not ready.
