It was a staple of my childhood summers. My parents had 4 of us and it was expensive to take all four of us to a movie. Drive in paid by the carload and we always packed goodies from the dollar store and home-popped popcorn. It was the best. We’d take camp chairs or sleeping bags to sit out next to or on top of the car.

I found out we have one within an hour of us. They’re showing the new Despicable Me. Thinking of taking Kiddo (age 6) and hightailing home it after film #1.
