It hurts my feelings that I have to send my kid with a fully disposable packed lunch tomorrow. Even the water bottle. I get that they don’t want to have to worry about angry parents if a kid leaves their water bottle on the field trip. But I’ve tried extra hard not to let my kid guzzle additional microplastics.

@MookyTroubadour yep. They’re doing a walking field trip to a playground then the public library. It’s nuts to me that they’re having them bring one throw away water bottle. She will drink it all up before even reaching the lunch spot.
