Mom win:
When given the choice between buying something at the zoo or going to the bookstore, my 6 year old chose books. And her own bookmark so I can have mine back.
@LaurelGreen oh I definitely spent more on books than I would have allowed on another stuffed toy.
@MotherDucker library cards and visits are crucial. But they still KNOW, sense the weakspot. My kid now txts me MUSTREADS. It was worthit.
