Antibiotics are doing absolutely fuck-all for this horrible cough that makes people look at me like I am patient zero of some fresh plague. I still don’t believe the diagnosis the urgent care PA-C bestowed on me.
I do NOT have a sinus infection. I have bronchitis. I know it. I’m not a doctor but I know it. I need steroids and probably an inhaler but I can’t get into PCP any sooner than 12/11.
FML. 🤦🏻♀️
@MotherDucker Man I’m sorry. I fought this for two months. I finally got steroids. Fortunately my PCP listens to me. Urgent care? I’m dealing with sore ribs now because of it all.
@SaltyVeruca for me, it’s worst in my neck. I have had multiple cervical spinal surgeries, so every time I cough I brace my neck for the force of the cough. It’s killing me. The rib pain is secondary and my abdomen feels like I’ve been doing crunches.
@MotherDucker That’s the feeling. You gotta get somewhere. Not getting sleep is going to be the next thing to be a problem. I went through antibiotics, codeine cough medicine which is unheard of these days, and steroids. Get well.
