Apart from CoSo, I am not a huge social media or glued-to-my-phone type of person. I have an acquaintance who gets really weird when I don't answer their texts immediately. Firstly they send few actual "text" messages, rather tons of random memes and emojis. Secondly, I'm focused on my kid during waking hours.
If I don't respond to them immediately they "react" to all the messages THEY sent, lighting up my phone all over again.
Which makes me want to respond even less.
Ugh.
@MotherDucker I'm the same, though people then tend to message Mrs heal3r to pass on a message which she finds rather annoying 🙄
@th3heal3r if it's anything substantive, I'm likely to reply. But the cutesy little memes or whatever they are are just cloying.
If you have something to say, it's totally fine (read: preferred) by me to get right to the point.
