Good morning , can anyone weigh in about personal experience with ? Do you feel it's helpful and worthwhile?

Iā€™ve had a lot of friends go and if they both arenā€™t into it, Iā€™d they both donā€™t like the counselor, itā€™s a waste of time.

You both have to be willing to be wrong, to apologize, to make changes.

You both have to be ready to listen without judgment or defensiveness.

Those are things my friends told me why their sessions didnā€™t work. One or both just didnā€™t want to go there.

But when it works, itā€™s a beautiful thing!

@MotherDucker I only have a little experience, and this is probably obvious: Both people have to be vested in the process. In my case during the second session my (now ex) wife gave up and wouldn't go to any more sessions.
