@angsaysroar first and foremost, you're right. It has been for much longer, and I shouldn't have said "now". Secondly, I have been acknowledging my privilege for going on 6 years now and I will continue to do so, for the sake of my daughter and for the sake of humankind. I am not trying to antagonize. I am trying to advocate. I am sorry to have done so poorly.

@MotherDucker It’s a 3rd world country now? Now that your rights are being violated? Were you as vocal a decade ago when women who are also #POC had their rights infringed on? Who are still having their rights infringed on. Or is America now 3rd world country because you are now being forced to live with a similar fear that #POC have had to live with for years? If that’s the leg you want to stand on, we have been a 3rd world country since the founding of this nation. #abortionrights #BLM
