When Older Kid tested positive for covid and had 5 days to get asymptomatic and test negative, or his Nutcracker role would go to an understudy, I thought that wd be the big deal of the week. Now he's fine, and I'm testing positive. This is my first time around with covid. Not the worst upper respiratory discomfort of my life, but it sucks.
I have some extra risk factors, which I'm not reminding the kids about. We all got the omicron boosters, so that's good. It's still daunting, though.
