WTF is there to be thankful for this year? Mass slaughters continue. Hate increases. #Ukraine continues to be bombed. #Covid goes on without mitigation. #ClimateChange goes on. Nothing changes. Nothing gets better. What's the point anymore? When I was young, there was hope for a better future. I can't see hope anymore. Just slow destruction. Death of humanity. Death of the planet.
@ZoraTheTruckerDog I can pitch in about Ukraine. there is a huge change: for 300 years russia was destroying us, our culture and our people. my grandparents went through Holodomor. when it happened, no one was on our side and no one even new about the genocide stalin conducted. now, things are different: we are seen and heard, we have support, and we have our focus on saving ourselves with help from our allies. this is progress over perfection kind of situation.
