This sort of thing is so dumb. Setting aside the prize-winningly stupid name “Vision Zero”, there’s reason to question the underlying causes. I’m entirely onboard with working to make roads and intersections safer, but none of this calls out the biggest root cause- shitty drivers. Increase penalties and enforcement for shitty driving, and you’re solving two problems- budget and road safety. Driving is NOT a right.
