This is interesting. The ABC news obituary notes that she was opposed to parole for Sirhan Sirhan, but pleaded for leniency in the sentencing of Michael Skakel. All the while nary a mention of lunatic RFK Jr.
@mcfate the family can do as they please, but this is ABC news. The press should aim higher.

Yes, I think they have no desire to go there
It's an obituary. She's dead, she's beyond being held responsible for him, if she ever was.
Whatever it might be, it's hard for me to get terribly excited about it.
@mcfate @MookyTroubadour @Idissent I think we all are the product of genetics and culture , in the genetics part she is not guilty , it is nature , but in the culture part I think she is guilty, the way they raised him .

The man's about sixty, he's presumably been responsible for himself for some time now. He is what he is.
@mcfate @MookyTroubadour @Idissent yes , I understand that but imagine if you are born in a super famous family, no limitations on anything, you have money and everything that comes with it, maybe ( and I’m saying maybe, I don’t know about his childhood obviously) maybe he was raised in a dysfunctional family and he is the result of that ?
@Jorro @MookyTroubadour @Idissent
Like I say, he's got siblings who aren't overtly weird, and who don't seem to think a lot of him.
@mcfate @MookyTroubadour @Idissent yes, but the same happens in every family, people have children, not clones , everyone is different.
@Jorro @MookyTroubadour @Idissent
My point is that it's facile to appeal to imagined "dysfunctional families", especially in the context of "crediting" his dead mom for him.
I have no idea what the point of these attempts at handing out "credit" are supposed to be.
Everybody's got a mom. Jack the Ripper had a mom.
@Jorro @MookyTroubadour @Idissent
For that matter, he's got siblings who aren't obvious maniacs.

@mcfate @MookyTroubadour @Idissent 🤣🤣🤣🤣 there is always one !!!
@MookyTroubadour
I get the impression that the family-at-large has kind of written him off as a loss at this point.
