I think this would look better and would certainly be easier if I used sans serif fonts…. I think a cloudy white might diffuse the light better than clear. Hmm.
@MakerWerks the clear part is solid (and if I remember correctly, only ~2mm thick). I think the bigger issue is getting the LED filament to lay down evenly. It’s like fighting a cooked spaghetti noodle.
@MookyTroubadour You may be right. What infill pattern/density are you using? Here's a good link for making FDM prints appear more transparent.
