Today’s installment of not knowing the word “soliciting”:

Me: [in the yard, playing with pupper]
Man in black shirt with some logo: Excuse me sir- do you have two seconds?
Me: Is it for soliciting?
MIBSWISL: Well, technically it’s marketing.
Me: No soliciting.

How about this- we make it so that you have to be able to define “soliciting” to get past the 6th grade?
